Most of the "musical" recording I have been doing lately employs microtonal scales. It would most useful for me if the anticipated support for scala files could be implemented. Please remember that scala files are relative pitch only and that the user must be able to also input the base frequency.

For me, the included microtuning pitch adjustments are too small (range of +/-50). In my experience +/-100 is more common on synth apps. I could actually use more than that ie +/-120. Why? I like to map unusual scales to the "white keys" ie the C Maj scale.

Thanks for considering these!

With scala import,I will buy this soft immediatly for my ewi usb.
I like to use it with other scala friendly soundsources(pianoteq,kaivo,chromaphone.......)
Maybe you can implement the in scala integrated keyboard mapping to play five or seven notes scales on the white keys.
Looking forward for these features!
Do you have any timeline for this?
thanks.......

Hey, yes, Microtuning is one of my next actions / priorities. I have a LOT of other actions and it is therefore difficult to estimate a timeline. Please share a bit more info on the "integrated keyboard mapping to play five/seven notes scales on the white keys. thx

thanks for reply...
can imagine that you have a lot to do or think about!
On the home page of scala( www.huygens-fokker.org/scala/ ) there is a feature called ‘flexible keyboard mapping.
I don’t understand that program enough to alter scala files. But pianoteq(free demo download ) use this in their tuning options. You can assign seven tone scales to the white keys or five tone scales to the black keys.Maybe you can assign five note scales to the fingering of six hole flutes......

by the way,are you flemish?I am ,live near Ronse....
