Deleting and renaming are good for sorting factory presets, and getting rid of the badly named ones.

I do realise that the way instruments are named and organised is not perfect but I need to find a balance between maintainability and user specific features.

The feature to switch between user view and factory view is already a step in the good direction and I will also see if I can sort the user view based on TAG.

Thanks, Rudy. I understand the balance you need to find. I think the current implementation of TAG does what is needed in terms of organization. The user can edit all tags and reorder in this way. Even renaming and resaving any and all then tagging.

Perhaps in the future, The USER view modes could include:
Sort by PC number
Sort by TAG
Sort by TAG + ID
Hide TAG + ID
Hide non TAG
etc.

I did rework the browser. This will be available in new version.
drop me a mail if you want to test it.
- User can overwrite (select other) TYPE field and also add TYPE
- Sort factory list by TYPE or by Instrument (and its underlaying variants)
- Switch to user list (all instruments/variants with Tag and/or prog)
- Order user list by TYPE or TAG or PROG
