Because I love music with saxophone sound, I started playing tenor sax a few years ago. Then I saw a wind controller (EWI4000s), bought it, and decided to sell my tenor sax. I like the experimental side of jazz, rock and world music (for exemple Fusion, Prog-Rock-bands like Motorpsycho or the John-Zorn-new-klezmer-approach), therefore, I am always looking for new sounds to "feed" my EWI.

I am member of a rock-band playing in a loud, and sometimes noisy manner. That is why I am looking for EWI-sounds working well with distortion and E-guitar-effects. The rough sound of my band makes me search for wind-controller-sounds which can compete with drums and e-guitars. At the same time, those sounds should have an organic and analogue touch with a new flavour.

I tried the new Respiro-sounds and some of them are working great with the band-sound. So I am curious in which ways this new instrument will develop. If I can be part of this process, this would be fine!
