Play Respiro as a VST in software MAX (cycling74.com)

What do MIDI messages ‘look like’ for RESPIRO’s VST?

My main software program is MAX, and I haven't yet managed to make Respiro work with it.

Some context:
MAX is an object-oriented programming language. Its vst object deals with incoming MIDI data according to the specs of different manufacturers.

For instance, for Arturia plug-ins, volume (CC7) is sent with a 'message' that looks like this:
"midievent 176 7 $1"

where "midi event 176" signals an incoming MIDI CC message on channel one, "7" means MIDI volume (CC7), and $1 the variation of that CC data between 0 and 127

For Native Instruments plug-ins such as Massive or Absynth, volume data uses a much simpler message, such as:
"58 $1"
where 58 is a proprietary identifier for CC7, and $1 is the variation of that data between 0. and 1.

So again, the question is – How does one send MIDI messages directly to Respiro’s vst?

Thanks
Tomás

I love MAX/MSP and use this for prototyping etc... and also developed a complete app with it. See VL-Wizard - Yamaha VL70m deep editor (entirely developed in MAX/MSP)

Respiro works fine in MAX. I did try again using the attached patcher.

Respiro needs NOTE ON and a CC to control pressure. By default Respiro is listening to CC02 and not to CC07. But you can set Respiro to listen to CC07 instead of CC02.

hope this clarifies
