  • Charging Sylphyo : absorbing the manual

Hi

I am rather new to Respiro and i have not done much with it: The reason is, that i found that the ideal controller for Respiro, and for me, is the Aodyo Sylpho

I actually became aware of it because of Respiro.

Now i am so lucky that i have a long weekend to start learning how to play the Sylphyo, but mine is somewhere in a truck between France and The Netherlands. And my partner is somewhere in a bus between The Netherlands and France.

Now my other problem: I had scanned with my windcontroller which is going to be replaced, through all the presets. I thought i had an overview of them all. Just now, i did it again. And i saw instruments, which for sure, i would have recognized before: Like Microtuning examples.

Question : is this due to an automatic update?

Cute if that is true : but a warning would be in place, so i can tag the sounds in my librarian !

Kind Regards

Frank

have a nice Easter

Congrats...Yes, the Sylphyo is a very powerful instrument. Be aware, the learning curve is considerable.... but once undercontrol then magic happens.... you can do much more then with a traditional controller, but practice is required, The super nice thing about the Sylphyo is its hyper sensitive breath sensor.. Maybe I should make some time to share the settings of Pedro...He does push his Sylphyo(s) to the maximum.

Automatic update : NO, the Respiro instruments, variants are there from the beginning, no magical hidden updates... What I do now is that many users overlook the variants of the instruments, Changing the macros can result in a new kind of instrument...
We plan to improve the browser and move to one column, but with the variants under the parent instrument....and with an indent..

Thanks : and thanks for the tips: Yes i am very aware about the learning curve: feel it is like changing from sax to trumpet.
and than the instrument you want to control adds mass and needs training again.
Took me three years with wx and Kurzweil 2000 before i could say : now what i think comes out of my instrument.

will be a great learning moment to see how Pedro found his way !

Makes the forum also a great place to come and share idea's

Automatic update
Maybe because there is a lot to absorb , that i did not see in first instance
Or was it the Chardonnay ?

I have no problem the the setup of the variants !
Thanks for the reply

we should sit in the sun
