Respiro 1.2.3 standalone force closing in Windows 10

Hi,

I updated to the latest Respiro 1.2.3 and it keeps force closing on my Windows 10 with the standalone version.
It displays the Respiro GUI for a few seconds and then automatically closes (without even asking/confirming)
It doesn't display a crash report and ask me if I want to close it.
When it closes, it doesn't show up in the system tray
Also it doesn't show in active processes either (I don't think, I'm not 100% certain because I am not terribly familiar with all the W10 processes yet).
I am not running any anitvirus, so it is not being disabled by that.

I have also tried re-downloading the new version and trying again, but it still occurs.
I should also note there are no error messages on installation.
I am doing a default install to the default Windows locations
I also tried restarting my PC after the installation, but that didn't fix it either.

The previous 1.2.2 version did not exhibit this behavior.
Nothing has changed on my system since updating to cause this. (No windows updates/program updates etc).
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing and it still occurs.
Rolling back to 1.2.2 fixes the problem.

hmm...OK...strange... I assumed I resolved this...
The issue is related to the audio driver initialisation.
I could replicated such issue on a Windows 10 machine with a separate Monitor that had a hdmi audio driver... But apparently I did not fix all cases... Are you using a separate monitor with build-in speakers? What is your hardware setup?

I will further investigate...many thanks for reporting this...
PS: I assume this is only happening in standalone mode...

no separate monitor... only the one.... no speakers *on* the monitor.. I don't even have an additional video card installed.... I am using the built in one on the motherboard... I *am* using a RME Babyface Pro which connects to my PC via USB. And the 2 outs from that go to my Studio monitors (speakers).

I haven't tried the VST version... I need to check....

I'm a little busy atm though, but I can provide you with the full computer specs later, if you need more info.

- Unfortunately I can not replicate in my windows machines.
- You should not have such issue when running in a DAW because the DAW is handling the audio initialisation instead of the StandAlone wrapper
- If possible you can send me the latest log and settings file . See Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Imoxplus\

the AppData is a hidden folder.

thanks

OK... thanks Ben...
looks like Respiro standalone does capture all necessary audio . and midi settings. Still unclear to me why it "crashes" after a while on your machine. No other users are reporting this... but I will further investigate and try to replicate the issue...
